Competition for offshore
Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production
The
Ministry of Economics plans to announce a competition for offshore
hydrocarbon exploration and production (E & P) in June 2008 for the
E & P licensing area approved by the Cabinet of Ministers
on September 21, 2007.
The
HC E & P licence area (899 km2) was determined in
the south-western part of the Latvian Exclusive Economic Zone (see the
map of the E & P licensing area) with the following ellipsoid (geographic)
coordinates in the WGS-84 system:
