Description: Waterfall was an outstanding landscape element
of Koknese manor park. Today you will not see manor nor waterfall, only
park stands. The manor house was destroyed during the 1st World War but
Perse waterfall was flooded in 1967 by then newly built Plavinas hydropowerplant.
I personally can understand, that the electricity produced by Daugava
gives
most of the electricity which I use and which was needed to create this
homepage. Still I have the feeling that something important has been stolen
from mine and future generations. Who knows, may be sometimes there again
would be waterfall flowing...
