Latvia has got few waterfalls in the real sense of the name “waterfall”. If we would assume that we can call a “waterfall” only the natural one which has got water throughout the year, which falls vertically or nearly vertically and which has at least one cascade with height of 1,5 m (5 feet), then we in Latvia have only these:

2. David's Mill spring waterfall on dolomites
3. Ierikupite Big waterfall
4. Ierikupite first waterfall
5. Ivande lower falls
6. Ivande upper falls (Valdatu Rumba)
7. Lielvardes Rumbina
8. Perse waterfall(flooded)
9. Piesupite waterfall (flooded)
10. Ventas Rumba
11. Zartapi waterfall

Abavas Rumba does not correspond to the above mentioned criteria for waterfalls but its popularity is so big - it should not be forgotten here.
